French polyurethane moulder Exsto is in the process of setting up a new moulding operation in Sao Paolo, Brazil, to serve the local oil and gas extraction businesses with durable cast polyurethane parts.
The unit, which will employ about 20 people, will be operational in early 2011, said Hervé Mouveroux, sales manager for the industrial market, with Romans, France-based Exsto, at the K2010 event. He did not give an investment figure for the Brazilian enterprise.
Exsto has been operating a plastics moulding operation, Bluespring Junengda, in Jinan, Shandong Province, in China, for a couple of years now, Mouveroux said.
The Chinese Exsto unit’s products replicate the parts made by the parent unit in France: these are largely cast polyurethane products, but include some thermoplastic mouldings.
