El Segundo, California – 3Diligent has added polyurethane casting to its range of machining and casting options to supplement its 3D printing offerings.
Polyurethane casting will allow the company, which focuses mainly on 3d printing, to support customers which need larger volumes. The move allows it to offer parts made from materials that are not yet suitable for 3D printing.
‘We strive to be a complete digital manufacturing solution for our customers from prototyping through to production, said Cullen Hilkene, CEO and co-founder of the company.
The company has already started offering casting services. ‘We worked with 3Diligent on a polyurethane casting project,’ said Terry Trumbull, vice president at Electro-Mech Components. That company supplies components to the aerospace industry.
