Bethesda, Maryland -- An interactive web portal outlining state-by-state regulations for Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC) has been launched by the Adhesive and Sealant Council (ASC).
The latest information on limits for industrial and consumer adhesive and sealant products has been collated into a database with links to an interactive US map on the organisation's websites adhesives.org and sealants.org as part of an upgrade of its Regulations section.
Director of Regulatory Affairs for the ASC Mark Collatz said: “Adhesive and sealant formulators, their raw materials suppliers as well as their customers all need to understand the ever-changing VOC regulatory landscape.
“This easy-to-use tool will help professionals across the supply chain do just that,” he added.
The page also provides access to the Environmental Protection Agency’s Control Technology Guideline, which assists state or local air pollution control authorities control emissions from industrial adhesive application processes.
