Texas, US – The catalysts business of Houston-based Albemarle has a new name, Ketjen. The wholly owned subsidiary company includes its catalysts for the polyurethane sector.
The PU catalysts are part of the company’s performance catalyst and curative solutions divisions. The business has two other divisions: one for fluidised catalytic cracking, and another for clean fuels and hydroprocessing.
“As the industry responds to global market dynamics, our customers need innovative solutions to help them navigate their changing landscapes,” said Raphael Crawford, the new subsidiary’s president. “Ketjen will continue to provide its portfolio of advanced catalyst and specialty chemicals solutions, which are unique to each customer’s needs, to increase production performance and business value.”
