Baton Rouge, Louisiana -- With immediate effect, flame retardants manufacturer Albemarle Corp. will increase prices of Saytex CP-2000 (tetrabromo bisphenol A) flame retardant by $0.35/kg on all shipments or as contracts allow.
Albemarle says that the brominated flame retardants are part of its fire-safety solutions for the polymer sector.
