Melbourne, Florida -- Local power companies often offer incentives to owners who make energy efficient improvements to their existing residential or commercial property, says All Florida Urethane, a state-certified roofing insulation contractor.
The company recently announced that it will do the research for owners so they can find out if they qualify.
All Florida Urethane also deducts the amount of the incentive from their contract price up front, once the owner is approved. They will also put owners in touch with representatives from the power company, who inform property owners of other ways that they may qualify for tax breaks after roofing maintenance or a reflective roof coating is applied.
The Florida based roofing expert said it believes that quality applications of urethane "can save owners thousands of dollars each year," providing watertight protection. Polyurethane, the most energy efficient insulation on the market, is also durable and easy to maintain, the company adds.
"Energy savings with our foam and reflective coatings usually start at 30 percent and depending on the amount of insulation, can go up to around 50 percent," said Don Smith, president of All Florida Urethane. "Most systems pay back the building owner in three to four years."
All Florida Urethane provides building insulation, commercial roofing and reroofing, roof insulation, and speciality products for commercial, industrial, and residential applications.
