Boulder City, Nevada - Amerityre Corp., which makes Elastothane polyurethane tyre technologies, has posted Q1 revenue improvement of 47 percent over the same period in 2010.
The company said sales are being driven by recent new product introductions into the material handling and agriculture industries. Amerityre said in a 1 Dec news release that it expects this to continue through the second quarter. It said it has received significant orders for agricultural tyres to be shipped before year-end.
"I believe this successful introduction indicates our new products are gaining marketplace acceptance. We expect to build on this success in the coming months," said Tim Ryan, Amerityre ceo.
Amerityre had previously said in November that due to funding problems, it had halted development on tyre projects, which are contingent on additional development, such as composite and automotive tyres. The company also makes solid tyres and foam tyres for low-speed, lightweight applications.
