Chicago, Illinois – Amore Beds has added open-cell memory foam infused with graphite to its mattresses. The company claims this ‘sets a new standard in heat dispersion and pressure relief, providing customers with their most comfortable sleep yet’.
‘We’ve been looking at the open-cell memory foam for a while now, and feel the technology has developed to a point where it poses significant comfort and heat dispersing advantages,’ says the company’s founder, Todd Summerville. ‘The new material pairs perfectly with our New Zealand GOTS wool which, in itself, provides excellent thermo-regulation and natural flame retardant properties.’
The foam is infused with graphite, allowing heat to be dissipated rather than simply wicked away from the mattress. The company claims this also adds to the overall durability of the mattress, allowing it to offer a 20-year warranty.
Amore said that the mattresses are constructed with 10cm of the open cell foam on top of fabric-encased 10cm coils. The company offers 100-day trials on all its mattresses, all of which are sold via its online store.
