Winsford, Cheshire -- Advanced Medical Solutions Group Plc, the Winsford-based manufacturer of polyurethane foam woundcare products, is on track to hit financial targets in the year to 31 Dec.
In a trading update today, the company said its LiquiBand skin adhesive product had gone on sale in the US, although regulatory approval for its use in the operating room is still under review.
Dr Geoffrey Vernon, chairman, said: "I am pleased to report that AMS has had a strong second half of the year and that the board expects full year earnings to be in line with market expectations."
AMS said the integration of Dutch foam manufacturer Corpura, where it bought out its partner Belgian PU foam group Recticel in October, was "proceeding well and is confirming our belief that polyurethane foam will be one of the key drivers of future growth for the company".
Vernon said the company's new head office building in Winsford was proceeding well, with phase I fit-out completed of the warehouse, laboratories, offices and initial manufacturing clean rooms.
Regulatory approval has been received to ship product from the new site and the project is within budget and on track for completion by the end of 2010 as planned.
Vernon added: "It will provide AMS with a world class medical device facility to support its future growth plans."
