Surbiton-Biotech firm AorTech Biomaterials, developer of the biomedical silicone-polyurethane material Elast-Eon, has gained grants from various Australian government agencies. A total of some $1 million AUD (about $745 000) will be awarded for the first half of 2006 to support AorTech's investment in R&D activities and infrastructure.
