Arlington, Virginia-The US Alliance for the Polyurethanes Industry (API) has issued a call for entries for this years's 2007 Polyurethane Innovation Award.
The Virginia-based group said 18 Jan that it has also added a third category - Processing Equipment-to the award's existing segments of Polyurethane Chemicals and Finished Products.
Finalists will be selected and the winners announced at the API Polyurethanes 2007 Technical Conference, "Step Into The Future," which is being held in partnership with the UTECH North America polyurethanes exihibition, in Orlando, Florida, 24-26 Sept at The Gaylord Palms Resort and Convention Center.
"API recognises the importance of the efforts and foresight of the companies and individuals whose visions and perseverance have brought new products to the marketplace," said Neeva-Gayle Candelori of API, in an 18 Jan API announcement.
Companies or individuals interested in entering for an award are invited to submit an application by 2 July 2007.
The Polyurethanes 2007 Technical Conference, in partnership with UTECH North America will feature technical sessions, panel discussions, poster presentations and exhibits.

The equivalent show in Maastricht, the Netherlands, in March 2006, attracted over 3000 visitors, many attending for two or three days.
