Romulus, Michigan -- APS Elastomers has announced the addition of Huntsman's polyether-based thermoplastic polyurethanes (TPUs) Irogran to its range.
Designed for a range of applications from low amp home appliances and heavy duty telecommunications wiring to automotive as well as industrial, power and energy cables, robotic, automated systems and geophysical cables.
Available in the shore hardness range of 80A-98A, they are UL 94 tested and several products also include proprietary flame retardant formulations.
APS Elastomers owner Stephane Morin said: “Sheathing materials using Irogran TPUs provide commercial advantages and cost efficiencies by delivering exceptional processability and good melt strength thus yielding higher production output.”
