Greenfield, Massachusetts -- Argotec Inc. co-founders Dick Barnes and Steve Wolkenbreit have
promoted Bruce Wilby to chairman and chief executive officer of the corporation, from his previous position as president and ceo.
In addition, Nicholas Filler has been promoted to president and chief operating officer of the polyurethane sheet maker, from his post as coo, which he has held since 2007.
The co-founders said in their 31 Oct announcement that as they are no longer involved in the daily operations of the company these promotions mean two critically important positions are filled. The team "will provide the leadership to ensure that Argotec continues its record of steady growth far into the future," the statement said.
Barnes and Wolkenbreit remain on the board of directors and stay involved in the company's long-term strategic planning.
Argotec is a privately held manufacturer of custom-engineered, high-performance, polyurethane film & sheet for plastics converters and fabricators, glass and textile laminators, and adhesive coaters serving the international automotive, paint and surface protection, medical, textile, laminated glass, graphics and speciality film markets.
