Munster, Germany -- An IPO offering from German insulation materials company Armacell “could be the decision of choice”, the company told UTECH-polyurethane.com following a flurry of online reports.
The statement came after international news organisation Reuters ran an unconfirmed report that British buyout group Charterhouse Capital is currently preparing it for floatation.
The statement, released exclusively to UTECH-polyurethane.com today, said: "Armacell is very well positioned in the markets for insulation and engineered foams.
“Over the past years, we have initiated many new processes to strengthen our strong global position. Doing so, we are continuously evaluating all strategic options to support the future growth. Consequently, we have taken some initial steps to prepare our organization for the next stage of our corporate development. In this context a potential IPO could be the decision of choice for Armacell."
