Wilmington, Delaware - Ashland Specialty Ingredients is increasing the price of its portfolio of intermediates and specialty solvents sold in Europe and North America, effective 1 April, or as contracts allow.
In Europe, prices for 1,4 Butanediol (BDO) and its derivatives Tetrahydrofuran (THF) and N-Methyl-2-Pyrrolidone (NMP) will increase by 14 cents per kg.
In North America, prices for BDO, THF and NMP will increase by 10 cents per lb.
Ashland said these prices were in response to changing market conditions.
