Preston, UK - Chemical Innovations Ltd (CIL) said managing director Peter Astles will be retiring from the company, 9 July 2011, after forty years of service.
The company, which produces chemicals for the coatings and urethanes industry, said that Astles has seen many changes in direction and ownership during his time with the firm.
Nigel Hay, ceo of Vita Compounding division, CIL, said: "I would like to take this opportunity to thank Peter for his considerable contribution to the development and success of CIL. We wish him a long and happy retirement."
Aissa Benarous will be taking over as business manager from July 2011. Benarous joined CIL as sales director in 2997 and the company said that she has been instrumental in the success of the Cilbond range of rubber bonding agents, increasing sales five-fold.
