Ludwigshafen, Germany -- Citroen C4 Cactus’ exterior features that use BASF polyurethane technology will be showcased at UTECH Europe 2015, BASF said in a press release.
A PU foam roof module using honeycomb sandwich technology will be unveiled for the first time and polyurethane bump-pads that feature on the side panels of the Citroen car will also be presented at the show.
New isocyanate mixtures and polyol components for mattress foams and PU aerogel for high performance insulation will also be showcased at the event, the company said.
Marc Fricke, the firm’s laboratory manager high performance insulation materials, will explain details about Slentite and Alain van Ooursouw, sales construction at BASF Nederland BV, will outline the benefits of a BASF a surface treatment for the application of polyurea spray coats.
Presentations from the company experts also include an outline of current developments at REACH and additives for improved PU properties in automotive applications, the company said.
BASF will be at Stand 1390 at Crain Communications Ltd’s UTECH Europe 2015 event at Maastricht’s MECC from 14 to 16 April, 2015.
