Cairo - Baalbaki, a middle-eastern polyurethane formulations company has opened its second polyurethane adhesives plant in Cairo. The new plant has a capacity of 15 kT/year. This plant is designed to serve customers in North and East Africa.
Baalbaki Chemical Industries set up as a polyurethane systems house in the 6th October Industrial City, Egypt in 2008.
Baalbaki added that it is building a new PU adhesives plant in Sharjah, UAE.
This is on schedule to start operating in the fourth quarter of 2013, said the firm. This will have capacity of 20 kT/year this will serve customers in the GCC and South East Asia.
