Balbaaki Group SA has announced that Marwan Kawas has joined the company's PU Business Unit as commercial director.
Kawas, who previously worked as sales director for Exxon Chemical in the Middle East, Africa and the Benelux countries, will be based in Beirut, Lebanon, a recent company statement said.
Balbaaki has also appointed Assaad Ghoussoub as technical director to the PU Business Unit. He will be based at the company's technology centre in Damascus, Syria.
Ghoussoub will be responsible for all future technical research and development of all PU systems and products produced at Balbaaki's PU Unit in Damascus as well as in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates and Cairo, Egypt, the statement said. (RD)
