Shanghai, China – BASF and Chonqing Boao Industrial, a car parts company, are collaborating in developing polyurethane systems for the automotive and construction industries.

BASF is supplying material and technical knowledge. Boao will develop applications and new products in the automotive and construction sectors.
Andy Postlethwaite, BASF's SVP for performance materials, Asia Pacific, said: 'There is an increasing demand in China for composite product that provide superior insulation for energy efficiency.'
Wang Wuyang, Boao's chairman, said he is 'delighted to cooperate with our-long term partner'.
