Oldenburg, Germany -- A new competence centre for flooring and waterproofing polymers, including polyurethane systems is scheduled to be built in the German town by 2015, BASF said in a statement.
BASF declined to specify the investment level at the site which will make and develop polyurethane and epoxy-based systems. The firm added that there would also be logistics, research, sales and service on the site which is to replace the site in Schaffhausen, Switzerland. This was sold with the Conica sports surfaces business in July, BASF said.
