Birmingham, UK — BASF’s thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) Infinergy – which provides energy return to runners in Adidas trainers – has been incorporated to a new sports bat.
UK-based-Racquet manufacturer Dunlop has launched range of bats for Padel tennis – a sport that is particularly popular at Spanish resorts and beaches since its introduction to the country in the 1970s.
Dunlop utilised BASF’s expanded thermoplastic polyurethane (E-TPU) to create a new material it calls Power Flex.
The technology was developed using BASF’s Elastollan, as previously reported at utech-polyurethane.com.
