Florham Park, New Jersey -- BASF will conduct a survey on sustainability at the 2010 American Coatings show, to be held from 12-15 April 2010 in Charlotte, North Carolina. The survey will cover topics ranging from products to business issues, a 5 April company statement said.
"Our focus at the American Coatings Show is not on individual products, but rather BASF's ability to deliver versatile, customised solutions to coatings formulators," said Uwe Liebelt, group vice president, Dispersions & Pigments, BASF North America.
BASF will present a number of papers at the pre-conference tutorial sessions and main technical sessions, including: "Waterborne High Performance Coatings" on 12 April and "Low VOC 2K Systems using Novel Hydrophobic Polyols," during the Polyurethanes session. "This theme acknowledges that sustainability means more to our customers than so-called 'green' products," said Liebelt. "It's about a way of doing business, and a path towards future success," he added. (RD)
