Wyandotte, Michigan - BASF is to take part in the 2011 SAE Noise and Vibration conference and exhibition this month in Grand Rapids, Michigan, the polyurethane materials supplier said in a 9 May announcement.
The conference, which BASF said is the only dedicated mobility noise, vibration and harshness (NVH) event in North America, brings together members of the automotive, commercial vehicle and aerospace industry to learn about and present new innovations in the field.
BASF said it will be hosting a session entitled "Microcellular Polyurethane for NVH Solutions" on the 17 May.
David Grimes, business director for Cellasto products at BASF, said, "We are proud to present a session that will highlight microcellular polyurethane NVH solutions, such as BASF's Cellasto."
He added that continual improvement and innovation was critical to the success of the industry.
The SAE Noise and Vibration Conference and Exhibition will take place 16-18 May 2011 at De Vos Place Convention Centre, Grand Rapids, Michigan.
