Ludwigshafen, Germany -- BASF is presenting its products and solutions for the automotive industry at the International Suppliers Fair (IZB) in Wolfsburg, Germany, held 10-12 Oct.
The chemical giant said it will inform visitors about products and technologies for weight reduction, interior and exterior applications, powertrain, and chassis.

Our global presence, innovation power, and many years of relationship with our customers in the automotive industry will help to make cars of the future not only safer, but also more efficient and environmentally friendly," said Michael Heinz, member of the
BASF board of directors.
BASF's sales to the automotive industry in 2011 were Euro 9.5 billion ($12.2 billion) making it the world's largest automotive supplier in the chemical industry, the company said in a 10 Oct news release
The company will showcase its foam solutions for car interiors, such as Elastoflex comfort polyurethane foams for all seating applications, as well as its Elastoskin spray foams for soft-touch instrument panels and door claddings.
