Ludwigshafen, Germany-BASF says it is trying to raise the price of its LupragenN 100 in Europe by € 0.10 per kilogram or the equivalent amount in local currency with immediate effect.
Lupragen N 100 -- N,N-Dimethylcyclohexylamine, is used as a reaction accelerator for rigid polyurethane foams. Such foams are highly efficient materials for thermal insulation.
BASF has a manufacturing capacity for Lupragen N 100 at its Verbund site in Ludwigshafen, Germany.
