This action, announced 16 March, is in addition to the $0.08 per pound increase BASF implemented for these products that took effect on 1 March, the firm emphasised.The products are sold under the Pluracol tradename."This increase reflects current market conditions that include growing demand for these materials and escalating costs," said Larry Berkowski, Director of BASF's Urethane Chemicals business in North America."
