Romans, France -- Baulé, a joint venture between Bayer MaterialScience and Michel Baulé SA, will be presenting its range of polyurethane solutions at the PU China 2010 exhibition, which is to be held 26-28 May at the Shenzhen Conference & Exhibition Center, Shenzhen, China.
The Romans, France-based company will present its quasi-prepolymer systems based on MDI (methylene diphenyl diisocyanate) and other polyether or polyester polyols, as well as associated machinery.
According to Baulé, quasi prepolymer systems provide advantages over conventional full prepolymers such as:
• Lower viscocity prepolymers and curatives
• Lower material temperature for processing
• Multi hardness elastomers with the same system
• Better environmental and health care
Applications for these systems include dual-layer screen panels for mines & quarries; scraper for wet food contact; and high-hardness cast PU sheets, Baulé said. (RD)
