Freudenberg, Germany -- Cutting machines manufacturer Baumer has bought the product line of Lamit – a Wesel, Germany-based bonding machine and production lines manufacturer.
With the acquisition of the product line and sales-related activities of Lamit, Baumer adds a range of products for the foam processing industries to its portfolio.
According to a Baumer press release, the global market for mattresses and related foam processing industries offers great growth potential thanks to increasing automation. The move also integrates a further production step into the company’s automated production lines.
