Spring, Texas -- Bayer MaterialScience has launched an interactive online resource for contractors to learn about spray foam application and safety.
Bayer developed the Applicator Fundamentals program to promote the use of spray polyurethane foam (SPF) insulation and roofing in residential and commercial applications, the polymers and plastics maker said, in a 15 Feb press release.
"Better information benefits the entire SPF industry," said Renee Zierden, Bayer MaterialScience's spray insulation and roofing materials general manager.
"Bayer MaterialScience llc will continue to develop SPF resources for its contractors and builders, so they can provide excellent services and pass the information on to their customers. We also provide our industry partners with these resources, so we can collectively promote SPF as a superior building product," Zierden said.
The programme has seven modules, including an overview on SPF, jobsite and rig preparation, equipment operation, wall and roof applications, and coatings, the press release said. LMH
