Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. BASF said it plans to employ Impact as opportunities to convert from existing production arise, with new polyol products being added in cooperation with customers.Impact polyoxyalkylation technology employs a double metal cyanide catalyst, which allows the continuous production of long chain polyether polyols. The products are principally used in the production of flexible polyurethane slabstock foams. "
