Caojing, China --Bayer MaterialScience announced plans to debottlen neck its methylene diphenyl diisocyanate (MDI) production facility in Caojing, Shanghai on 10 September
Bayer said that when the project is complete, scheduled for mid-2014, capacity would rise from 350,000 to 500,000 tonne/year.
No details were given for the investment level or contractor.
