Spring, Texas - Bayer MaterialScience will be marking its recent association with the Energy & Environmental Building Alliance (EEBA) by exhibiting at the forthcoming EEBA exhibition in Las Vegas.
Bayer said in a 26 Aug news release that the 2011 EEBA Excellence in Building Expo will give the company an opportunity to showcase its residential spray polyurethane foam insulation.
BMS is part of the EEBA's Houses That Work educational series - a training programme that focuses on residential building science to improve performance, efficiency and durability.
As part of this, Bayer will be showing its Bayseal open cell SPF and Bayseal closed cell SPF. A display will compare the performance of Bayseal open call SPF with fibreglass batt insulation, which BMS said will allow attendees an opportunity to "see insulation in action."
"The EEBA focus on education and whole-house building science is integral to the Bayer approach to the residential market. We know builders and homeowners alike are demanding higher performing homes. By participating in the EEBA training series, we can better deliver on this mandate," said Renee Zierden, general manager, BMS spray insulation and roofing materials.
The 2011 EEBA Excellence in Building Expo will be held 14-16 Sept in Las Vegas, Nevada.
