St. Louis, Missouri -- BayOne Urethane Systems llc, a joint venture between Bayer MaterialScience and PolyOne, has introduced Bayfit 633 -- its high resilience flexible foam based on a natural oil polyol (NOP).
Made with 16 percent renewable content, Bayfit 633 is a 100-percent water-blown flexible foam that can be moulded to a density of 3-3.4 lbs per cubic foot, developed mainly for seating applications, a 2 Aug statement from BayOne said.
"We understand the reality of the marketplace our customers are in -- one that places a high value on sustainable products and renewable resources," said Mark Vanover, marketing manager, BayOne Urethane Systems. "We've delivered an excellent alternative to standard high-resiliency foams that helps protect the environment," he added. (RD)
