Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania - BaySystems North America llc, a subsidiary of Bayer MaterialScience, announced 24 June that its Bayseal OC spray polyurethane foam insulation has been reviewed for thermal protection in building insulation by ICC Evaluation Service, Inc (ICC-ES).
"The ICC-ES report provides us with certifiable evidence that Bayseal OC spray polyurethane foam insulation meets key building code requirements and acceptance criteria - from a respected source that is accessible by any interested party," said Jerry Whitaker, director, technology, BaySystems North America. "The ICC-ES certification process makes life easier for everyone involved with the building and the insulating processes - from the architects to the contractors in the field, and everyone in between."
Bayseal OC is an open-cell, two component, low-density, water-blown system specifically designed for insulation applications, providing improved occupant comfort, a cleaner indoor environment, greater noise reduction and superior energy saving over conventional systems, BaySystems said.
"As building and construction decision-makers continually look for the most innovative and technically advanced products on the market, Bayseal OC's ICC-ES report will help guide them to this exceptional offering in the BaySystems materials portfolio," concluded Whitaker.
