Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania - BaySystems, the polyurethane systems business of Bayer MaterialScience, will offer home owners in North America a two-year annual heating and cooling cost guarantee as part of an expansion of its Energywise residential energy efficiency programme, the company said 6 Oct.
The energy savings programme brings together energy performance analysis and design optimisation using a network of Energywise preferred contractors who install Bayseal polyurethane spray foam insulation products, the statement said.
The new programme, renamed the Energywise Energy Cost Savings Guarantee, "is both environmentally and budget friendly, making it the right offering for these times," said Renee Zierden, general manager, BaySystems. "It's a compelling programme for home builders to differentiate their properties from the competition by uniquely offering consumers the ability to save on their energy bills year after year," he added.
Bayer is so confident in the resulting energy efficiency of the home and its "rigorous contractor certification programme," that it will extend a two-year annual heating and cooling cost guarantee with no qualifications or exceptions to the home owner, the company emphasised. (RD)
