Mindleheim, Germany - Production of polyurethane window frames and profiles was one focus at a recent innovation day held by BBG GmbH & Co. KG in Dusseldorf at the end of September.
BBG's 2nd Innovation Day - a programme of presentations, exhibitions and workshops on the company's latest innovations to around 80 customers from around the globe - took place to celebrate the company's tenth anniversary and relocation to a new building.
The day included presentation on the BBG-designed installation for series production of PU window frames and profiles with "highly effective heat translation," BBG said in a 26 Oct statement.
Guest speakers included included Andre Cooreman from BASF with the presentation: "ColoFast, the versatile aliphatic polyurethane for automotive and non-automotive applications." Klaus-Peter Niermann of Bayer discussed "Tailored PU system solutions for the solar energy industry," while Jurgen Oelkers from Hennecke described some innovative PU technology. (RD)
