Mindelheim, Germany -- BBG GmbH & Co. KG will be exhibiting a range of its polyurethane-based products at an exhibition devoted to solar production engineering. The trade show, titled solarpec, takes place alongside the glasstec trade show in Düsseldorf, Germany, from 28 Sep to 1 Oct 2010.
BBG said it will present:
• Solar thermal energy, photovoltaics and combination modules with PU frames and fastening elements;
• 'Solar-PUR-Flus' technology for encapsulating inserts, joints and electronic components in plastic frames, and;
• TopTherm 90.
The last-named product is "the world's first ultra-energy saving standard window with a frame and profile core made of PUR," a 27 July company statement said.
The Mindelheim-based company will also be giving two presentations to prospective customers on its innovations. Project manager Gerhard Hörtrich will be talking about "Efficient production technologies for window systems made of polyurethane," while Hans Brandner, BBG's managing partner, will be focussing on "Technologies for flexible PUR frames in solar modules, using passive and active roof modules as an example," the statement said.
