Riyadh, Saudi Arabia – BCI Group has inaugurated a new manufacturing plant for polyurethane systems in Saudi Arabia. The facility is part of the company’s global expansion strategy.
The new BCI Arabia plant is located in Riyadh’s Second Industrial City. The 10,000m2 facility has an initial production capacity of 60kT/year, and features fully automated operations. The company said the new plant reaffirms its commitment to industrial development and sustainability, in line with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030.
The facility will focus on producing materials for industries including automotive, piping, HVAC systems, household appliances and insulation. The company said its commitment to sustainability is reflected in the use of non-toxic materials, and advanced technologies that cut energy consumption by up to 60%.
“This plant is not merely an industrial facility but a testament to our vision of integrating global expertise with local innovation to build a bright future for the kingdom,” said Hassan Baalbaki, the company’s group managing director.
BCI Holding specialises in PU systems, polyester polyols and specialty adhesives. It is headquartered in Dubai.
