Springdale, Arkansas - BioBased Technologies has expanded its distribution network for Agrol natural oil polyols (NOPs) by adding Los Angeles-based Dorsett and Jackson Inc.. to focus on sales in the western United States.
"Working with Dorsett and Jackson provides our company an excellent opportunity to expand our reach to the West Coast," said Amy Sorrell, chief executive officer for BioBased Technologies, in a 10 March statement. "The region has a large demand for sustainable materials, and we feel Agrol is a great fit for the market. Dorsett and Jackson's 50 years of experience in the market will strengthen our distribution network."
BioBased Technologies manufactures Agrol as 96-percent bio-based polyols, which can be used in a variety of polyurethane systems, including carpet backing and padding, spray foam insulation and flexible seat foam.
The company says the polyols have low odour and good colour, dependable product quality and are available in a range of functionalities for a variety of uses.
