Rogers, Arkansas – BioBased Technologies, which appointed Cellular Technologies as its sales agent in Europe in April 2015, will stock biopolyols on the continent from early 2016.
The announcement was confirmed by Jurgen Hickl, Cellular Technologies, UK managing director. Hickl said that Agrol biopolymers would be stocked on mainland Europe. “The location is like to be the Netherlands, but a final decision has to be made,” he said.
Hickl said that there is strong interest in biopolyols from big converters and that they have undergone production trials recently.
Amy Sorrel, BioBased Technologies’ chief executive officer said the decision to stock polyols in Europe was to give customers access to a wide range of Agrol products. These will be price-competitive with petroleum-based chemicals in the European market, she added.
