Barcelona, Spain -- Lubrizol Advanced Materials’ TPU range will be distributed in Scandinavia and eastern Europe by Bjorn Thorsen A/S, according to a company press release.
The statement from Bjorn Thorsen said Lubrizol’s new aliphatic TPU range is designed for high-tech electronic industry specification – ie watchbands, smartphones and headphones - and also for automotive, sports and recreation applications.
The companies will unveil Lubrizol’s new aliphatic-based TPU technologies for moulding and extrusion – which they claim, “complement the aromatic TPU portfolio” - at Sweden’s Plastteknik Nordic event on 9 and 10 April.
The deal is an addition to a Bjorn Thorsen’s long-standing distribution of Estane Engineered Polymers and Pearlthane TPU in Nordic countries.
