Leverkusen, Germany - Bayer MaterialScience is to introduce new developments in UV-curing coatings at RadTech Europe 2011 this October.
Bayer MaterialScience said in a 5 Aug announcement that it will present its innovations with four presentations and at an accompanying exhibition at RadTech Europe 2011 from 18-20 Oct in Basel, Switzerland.
The technology is characterised by high productivity and environmental compatibility, BMS said, and has proven very effective in numerous applications for polyurethane coatings. BMS will be showcasing its Bayhydrol UV range, which it says cures in seconds under UV light.
This year the focus is on the industrial coating of wood, furniture and parquet flooring. A new technology for the on-site use of parquet coatings is also being presented.
