Ludwigshafen, Germany - BASF SE's board has appointed Kurt Bock to succeed Juergen Hambrecht as chairman of its board of executive directors. Martin Brudermueller will become vice chairman.
Both appointments will take effect following the end of BASF's annual meeting on 6 May 2011, said a 31 May BASF statement.
