By Liz White, UT staffKazinbarcika, Hungary-Dynea International Oy and BorsodChem Rt are investing to double capacity at their jointly-owned formaldehyde unit, BCKC Formalin Kft, in Kazinbarcika, Hungary to 120 kilotonnes per annum by the end of 2005. Hungarian chemical supplier BorsodChem Rt-a leading producer of MDI (methylene diphenyl diisocyanates) in central Europe-is increasing its MDI capacity in Kazinbarcika from 60 to 160 ktpa. "BorsodChem is committed to becoming an even stronger player in the quickly growing MDI business in central and eastern Europe.
