Brazil launches new polyurea systems standard
It specifies lab tests and criteria for the minimum allowable quality of two component polyurea and hybrids of polyurea/polyurethanes. It also covers systems applied on concrete and metal substrates using spray equipment. The standard defines high thickness as greater than 500 μm.
The standard was produced with help from Fernando Costa, business manager of VersaFlex South America. He said: "The standard will provide much needed guidance for owners, supplier and applicators of polyurea systems for all future applications.
