Cartersville, Georgia -- Burtin Polymer Laboratories (BPL), which makes polyurethane insulation and spray coatings, has introduced Bullet Liner for pick-up truck beds, tailgates, wheel wells and similar applications. BPL claims that more than four decades of family history in this market "gives BPL the experience to bring contemporary levels of expertise and technology to this wildly popular scratch- and dent-resistant coating system."

Bullet Liner offers maximum protection and provides a long lasting coating that's impervious to weather, gives improved UV protection and enhances puncture and abrasion resistance, BPL claims.

"This new product is now the continuation of my vision for this marketplace, seizing on the newest formulations for protection and style," said Claudio Burtin, ceo of Burtin Labs, in a company statement. Burtin claims to have pioneered the technology for this market more than 30 years ago and was the principal founder of the original Line-X products.

"No one knows better than we do the relationship our customers have with their trucks and they consider them members of the family. Sure they bought a truck to haul things, but they don't want to dent or scratch the bed in the process," added Burtin.

As well as physical protection, BPL says Bullet Liner is formulated to maintain a high lustre shine for years and is available with a colour matching system so customers and distributors can now match, or contrast, virtually any exterior shade.
