Loudon, Tennessee - The US Polyurethane Foam Association (PFA) has issued a call for papers for its 17 May technical programme as part of the organisation's spring meeting. Interested parties must submit their requests for presentation by 16 March.
PFA said it welcomes technical papers summarising recent research and product development, field studies, innovations in formulation or production technology and new equipment related to the processing of flexible polyurethane foam, as well as papers on product sustainability and environmental issues.
Papers must have a non-commercial focus and specifically address topics related to slabstock or moulded flexible polyurethane production in North America. A short summary of the intended content must be submitted with requests.
The presentations will be scored to compete for a $500 Technical Excellence Award provided by the Herman Stone Family Endowment, PFA said.
The 16-17 May Spring PFA general business meeting and technical programme will be held at the Sheraton Inner Harbor hotel in Baltimore, Maryland.
