The Woodlands, Texas-Huntsman Corp. has appointed Calsak Corp. of Los Angeles, California, as its western region distributor for thermoplastic polyurethanes (TPUs).
Huntsman said that Calsak, which has been in resins and chemicals distribution for more than 35 years, will distribute Huntsman's Irogran and Irostic TPUs to the injection moulding, technical extrusion and adhesive markets.
The group added that signing up Calsak is the latest step in a "drive to optimise service and logistics for North American customers."
