Arlington, Virginia - The American Chemistry Council has appointed Neeva-Gayle Candelori as the new director of the Center for the Polyurethanes Industry, an ACC unit. The appointment took effect in late May.
Candelori brings over 12 years of plastics industry experience to this role, having worked for leading chemical and plastic industry trade associations, said a 12 June ACC statement.
Before joining the ACC, Candelori held positions at The Society of the Plastics Industry and The American Plastics Council. In these roles she was responsible for managing industry issues for the vinyl, colour and additives and healthcare sectors.
"Neeva-Gayle brings a rich background in trade association management," said Sharon Kneiss, vice president of ACC. "She brings excellent communication, interpersonal, analytical and leadership skills."
